Maintenance at height
Routine Maintenance (PPM)
Protecting the condition of your structures
The world of facilities management has changed in recent years, with a shift from reactive maintenance to a more proactive, preventative approach.
This forward-thinking way of working reduces on-site disruption, minimises expenditure on costly repairs and keeps structures in an optimum condition.
However, challenges arise when these structures are difficult to access, even tougher to navigate and seemingly impossible to maintain. That’s when you need a Height Expert, so why not explore our site to see our work in more detail?
Multi-disciplined maintenance expertise
With a wealth of knowledge within our multi-disciplined team, we spend the majority of our working lives, above ground. Our IRATA-trained rope access technicians use an array of skills to keep our clients’ facilities safe, clean and impressive, with rarely any powered equipment or scaffolding in sight.
We clean, repair, overhaul, paint, inspect, report…the list goes on. And the result? The cost-effective maintenance of everything from ETFE and tensile fabric canopies, to fall protection systems, roller coasters and even vast cruise ships. We never shy away from a complex brief!
Maintenance Reports & Acqudo© Software
You may be wondering how a planned preventative maintenance schedule begins to take shape?
As much as our engineers can be on hand whenever and wherever you need them, we don’t always have to be on your site. Instead, following an initial inspection of your structure, we can report on our findings and devise a detailed next-step schedule of work. Some immediate repairs may be required but, thereafter, we may only have to carry out minor routine maintenance tasks to maximise the condition of your building, structure or canopy moving forward. We even use a proactive cloud reporting tool – Acqudo© – to provide a live, detailed log of everything we do. Or, you may choose to use our initial inspection report to plan your own FM works internally.
Either way, talk to Access North Structures to assess what’s possible.
When you need it the most
As much as preventative maintenance can help optimise the ongoing condition of your structure, no amount of planning can anticipate the unexpected. What you can do, however, is implement a support system around your business so that, in the event of an emergency, you have trusted expertise virtually on stand by.
You might need only a minor ETFE repair, secure a loose roof tile, or a more extensive tensile fabric overhaul. But with response teams throughout the country, you can think of us as an extension to your facilities team.
