Maintenance for the heart of your ETFE roof
ETFE AHU servicing by qualified engineers
Our experienced HVAC engineers provide a professional and reliable service, to ensure that your ETFE AHU remains in optimum working order.
The air handling unit supplying your ETFE roof is engineered to compensate for small fluctuations in pillow pressure. Fluctuations may be caused by system leaks, pillows depressurising or instances of minor damage, such as bird strikes. Pillow pressure is monitored via digital pressure sensors - these enable the early diagnosis of any issues so it is essential to ensure everything is working correctly.
Regular inspection and maintenance of the air handling unit can not only prevent any unexpected failure and reactive maintenance expense, but also increase the lifespan of the unit and provide an insight into when you may need to plan for a replacement from your budget.

Maintenance Checklist
Maintaining your ETFE AHU for years to come
Your ETFE roof is fully reliant on the air supply provided by the dedicated air handling unit (AHU). Working continuously to maintain the air supplied to the ETFE pillows, the AHU continually monitors the pressure to ensure it remains constant and at an optimal level for the size of roof being supplied.
It is the beating heart of your ETFE membrane roof and is an essential piece of equipment to keep it looking its best and functioning properly. In the event that the ETFE AHU experiences a failure, the functionality and appearance of your roof can be affected, which can have a knock on impact on clients and visitors to your structure.
