A recent contract win has created a brand new opportunity for an experienced Fall Protection Installation Technician to join our team. This is a really exciting time for us and this position offers the chance to be part of our continued success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attending installations and inspections on client sites, including
  • Fitting new fall-protection systems
  • Assessing the condition and performance of existing systems.
• Identifying and reporting any failures or deficiencies during system inspections, in line with the latest industry standards
• Installation, testing and inspection of fall protection systems, ideally including:
  • Fall arrest and horizontal safety lines
  • Eyebolts for fall restraint and abseil
  • Gantries, walkways, and guardrails
  • Fixed and portable ladders
  • Personal fall protection equipment
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive client relationships

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fall protection installation and maintenance
• Familiarity with a range of fall protection systems and equipment, such as Latchways, SFS, 3M, FallAngel and KATT
• Strong knowledge of current safety regulations and industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required is essential for this role
